After dark

Guided night hog hunts with thermal scopes

Hogs do most of their moving at night. Our guides take you out after dark with thermal scopes, spot the hogs for you and stay with you the entire hunt. Ask about adding a night hunt when you request your dates.

Trophy room

The kind of animals our guides put you on.

Every animal is recovered by your guide and field dressed by our ranch hands before it goes to the cooler or the taxidermist.

Whitetail pricing

Priced by the inch, scored together.

Your guide scores every buck with you after the harvest, using the Boone and Crockett gross score. You pay for the deer you take, never for one you missed.

Our managed herd regularly produces bucks in the 180-inch class.

Questions

Before you book

When can I hunt?

The fictional schedule shows year-round exotic hunts and an October–February whitetail season. A real ranch would confirm applicable dates and permits before booking.

Do I have to hunt with a guide?

Yes. Every hunt at Rimrock Hollow is guided, for safety and so you're always set up in the right spot for the animal you came for.

What happens after I take an animal?

Your guide helps with recovery and photos, then our ranch hands field dress the animal, cape it for a mount if you want one, and get it into the walk-in cooler. We can deliver to a local processor or taxidermist.

What if I wound an animal and it isn't recovered?

A wounded animal that draws blood and isn't recovered counts as harvested and is charged at the trophy fee. Our guides help you pick shots that make this rare.

Do you offer night hunts?

Yes, for feral hogs. Night hunts use thermal scopes and are always guided. Your guide spots the hogs, sets up the shot and stays with you the whole time.

Can I bring my own rifle or bow?

Yes, and most hunters do. Ranch rifles are available if you'd rather fly in light.
