Privacy Policy

Effective October 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Elm Fork Digital collects through elmforkdigital.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Elm Fork Digital is a d/b/a of Adam McLaughlin LLC, a Texas limited liability company based in Highland Village, Texas (“we,” “us” or “our”).

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number and the message you send. When you email or call us, we receive the information you choose to share.

Scheduling. If you book a consultation, you do so through Calendly, which collects the details you enter there under its own privacy policy and shares them with us so we can meet with you.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you view and the time of your visit. The Site loads fonts from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your IP address and browser information when the page loads.

Cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not currently use analytics tools. If that changes, we will update this policy first.

How we use information

We do not use your information to send marketing emails unless you ask us to, and every marketing email we send will include a way to opt out.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for them to do that work:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.

How long we keep information

We keep inquiry messages for up to two years if you do not become a client. If you become a client, we keep project and billing records for as long as needed for the work and for tax and legal purposes, generally up to seven years.

Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections to the Site and two-factor authentication on our business accounts. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it, by emailing adam@elmforkdigital.com. We will respond within 45 days. We may need to keep some information to comply with the law or finish work you asked for. Depending on where you live, including California and Texas, you may have additional rights under state law; we will honor those requests as required. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Do Not Track. Because we do not track visitors across websites, the Site does not change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals.

Children

The Site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Other websites

The Site links to other services, such as Calendly. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page and update the effective date above.
